A continental platform for governance and leadership excellence
The Africa Governance & Business Leadership Awards (AGBLA) 2026 is a high-level continental recognition platform established to honour exceptional African leaders, institutions and enterprises whose governance, strategic leadership, innovation and measurable impact are advancing Africa's development and global competitiveness.
AGBLA brings together leaders from business, government, public institutions, civil society, development organisations and the professional community. It recognises achievement not only by position or visibility, but by the quality of leadership exercised, the integrity of governance systems established, the value created for stakeholders and the durability of the nominee's contribution.
The 2026 edition will be co-hosted in Ghana with the 6th National Governance & Business Leadership Awards, creating a distinguished Ghana–Africa platform that celebrates national excellence while opening the stage to outstanding leadership and institutional performance across the continent.
Where leadership creates lasting value, Africa moves forward.
